For me, the outdoors has never been about simply filling a tag or catching a fish. It’s about the places, the dogs, the people you share them with, and the stories that come home with you.
I’m a Registered Maine Guide with a lifelong appreciation for upland hunting, fly fishing, fine double guns, bird dogs, and the sporting traditions that connect them. Much of my time in the field is spent behind English Pointers, pursuing ruffed grouse and woodcock through the Maine coverts or exploring the rivers, ponds, and remote country of the western mountains.
I founded Bald Porcupine Outfitters to share those experiences with others—whether you’re an experienced sportsman, picking up a fly rod or shotgun for the first time, or simply looking to become more comfortable and capable in the outdoors.
The goal is simple: good dogs, wild country, good company, and an experience worth remembering.
